Vidal Pleads Guilty To Stealing From Former Employer

A woman who is accused of stealing money from a store in Schuylerville has pleaded guilty. Fifty-six-year-old Arlene Vidal, who is a former grocery manager at Byron’s Village Market, pleaded guilty in court to stealing over $40,000 from her employer. The Glens Falls Post Star reports that she and a co-worker were arrested after the owner of the store found the money missing. Vidal will be sentenced on January 7th where could be facing up to seven years in state prison.
